"power of words, thoughts and journaling"

my friend kiki and i were talking about our journals and how we love the chances when we get to work in them. she passed on this quote that teesha moore wrote:

..."journals are great ways of manifesting dreams and goals. i have now learned that things i actually write in my journal have about 90 percent chance of really happening. when the world finally realizes how powerful a journal can be, watch out!"

it made me think about how powerful not only our words are, but our thoughts. john and i have really made a conscious effort to remember this and catch ourselves before we enter the dark zone our fearful minds can sometimes enter. we have had example after example of how what we speak and think come true. knowing this, makes me realize how much power we have in our energy and i am learning to be extra careful to make it positive. not just in what i say out loud but especially what i don't say. i make sure to check into what i feel and think.

a trick i've learned is when i want something, i put it out there with all certainty and trust that i will get it. and if by chance i don't, i also trust that what i will get will be better than what i wanted. try it. but make sure you believe in it with purpose. 

another must is to surround yourself with people who believe in this too. be with people who won't accept it any other way and be that person for them. if you need more hopeful friends, then wish for them. they will appear.

feel your wishes. think about them. believe in them as if they are already on their way. put them on your fridge. your journal. your paintings. your mirror. everywhere you look and move towards them.
